The oldest of the Danjuma brothers, Rasheed was a self-made man. He’d learned at an early age that love and commitment brought with it complications he didn’t want to deal with. His single-minded focus had paid off. He was able to step into the shoes of his absentee father by taking care of his mother and twin brothers. But just when he thought he could stop carrying the weight of his family on his shoulders, he gets a call that could change the trajectory of Rasheed’s life. Ibiso Jaja, a professional caterer, had gambled on the love of a man and lost. Through the redeeming love of God, she had picked herself up and was now living her dream as the owner of Bisso Bites, a bistro in the heart of Abuja. However circumstances conspire to threaten the bistro and bring her face to face with the type of man she has vowed to avoid. The attraction is instant. Once again, Rasheed is forced to do something he has done all his life – put the needs of his family ahead of his own. This time however, he crosses path with the sassy, independent, Jesus-loving caterer who is bent on making him see the power of forgiveness and God’s love. Just when Rasheed lets his guard down, a deadly sabotage causes old demons to rise. Will Rasheed continue to pursue power and success or surrender to the light of God’s love?

About The Book

Four Friends, One Secret and The Weekend That Changed Their Destiny

Candace Walker, Kaylan Smith, Jordan Tate, and Tiffany Thomas have their share of sorrows, but neither of them realizes how deep the sorrow goes.  What happens when they agree to meet for a weekend of relaxation in beautiful Napa County? Which one will leave the same or worse?

For Candace Walker, life has left her battered and bruised.  Kaylan Smith has struggled with prejudice from her in-laws. After fifteen years of marriage, bitterness is trying to raise its ugly head for Jordan Tate, whose husband wants to call it quits. And for Tiffany Thomas, dealing with rejection has never been one of her greatest feats.

Although they have been friends for years, they thought they knew each other well. But will a secret destroy their relationship and bring the sisterhood to a complete halt? Will they be able to forgive and allow God to mend that which might be torn?

Describe yourself in three words.
I would describe myself as: ambitious, gifted and spiritual

What is a typical day like for you?
My typical day starts out by having a cup of hazelnut coffee, walking a few miles and promoting my clients.

What do you want to do different in 2013 that you didn’t do in 2012?
Write another novella before years end.

What television show best describes your life and why?
The Haves and Have Nots! I come from a large family of eight.  Minus the drama from Candace, each member of my family is dealing with something in life that will ultimately cause them to grow stronger or it might destroy them.

What’s your favorite quote & why?
My favorite quote comes from the Bible:  Romans 8:28 The Message (MSG)
26-28 Meanwhile, the moment we get tired in the waiting, God’s Spirit is right alongside helping us along. If we don’t know how or what to pray, it doesn’t matter. He does our praying in and for us, making prayer out of our wordless sighs, our aching groans. He knows us far better than we know ourselves, knows our pregnant condition, and keeps us present before God. That’s why we can be so sure that every detail in our lives of love for God is worked into something good.

I love this passage because so many times in my life especially when going through tests and trials I wonder how things are going to work out.

What character in your new book could you most relate to?
Tiffany

What’s next for you?
I’m working on another Novella for Valentine’s Day 2014

What song would you use as the soundtrack of your life and why?
I Didn’t Know My Own Strength by Whitney Houston. At the lowest points in my life, when my life seemed to be crumbling the words to this song echoed my feelings, my emotions and thoughts. Many times I didn’t think I would make it, darkness covered my world, dreams were lost, plans shattered, but it was my faith in God and His Word that keep me.

A Piece of Revenge by Rhonda McKnight (E- book)

I've joined the ranks of authors published in e-book format. Yay! I'm so excited.

Last summer "A Woman's Revenge" (a collection of novellas by Tiffany L. Warren, Sherri Lewis and myself) was published through our independent publishing company 3 Sisters Books. We have decided to independently publish our stories as e-book titles.

Short Description

A newlywed discovers she's married the wrong man when the funds for her non-profit organization are missing and so is he. She employs a private detective to help. Will he save all including her heart?

Extended Description

Where do broken hearts go? If you’re Tamera Watson…to the pawn shop to buy a gun. Tamera Watson’s husband is gone and so is her life savings and all the corporate grant funds for a non-profit program for underprivileged kids. With the last of her pennies she pays a private detective to hunt him down, so she can gun him down. When she finds him will she be able to pull the trigger? Or will the God of her heart stop her before she lets her desire for revenge take her too far.

A Piece of Revenge is availabe at Amazon.com, Barnes and Nobles and Smashwords. The price is $2.99
